Building the context behind the hardest questions in computation

OpenTCS turns precise questions, primary sources, and visible research progress into shared infrastructure for researchers and AI systems.

Mission

We believe AI can expand the boundaries of what humanity can understand and prove. OpenTCS is dedicated to building the shared foundation needed to advance and ultimately resolve the deepest questions in theoretical computer science.

Role

OpenTCS works to accelerate progress in theoretical computer science and make its frontier openly accessible. We organize open questions, preserve the record behind each advance, and make the people and systems driving progress visible.

Build

We create structured problem records, downloadable research packs, and public records of progress designed for both researchers and AI systems. Together, they turn scattered knowledge into a shared starting point for new discovery.

Context

Progress begins with a precise understanding of the question, its history, and the body of work surrounding it. We treat that context as research infrastructure, not background material.

Access

The deepest questions in theoretical computer science belong to the field as a whole. Their statements, sources, and development should be accessible to anyone prepared to pursue them.

Collaboration

We believe future theoretical advances will increasingly emerge from collaboration between researchers and intelligent systems, each extending the capabilities of the other.

Progress

New results matter not only as conclusions, but as part of an evolving public record. We make the questions, contributions, people, and systems behind that progress easier to discover.
